The aubergine is the most widely eaten fruit in the world. These aubergines have a fairly neutral taste which means they can be used with great versatility in the kitchen.
In addition to the dark purple variety we also offer a wide range of specialties, such as the white and graffiti aubergine.
Our aubergines are grown in the Netherlands by Paul and Aad v/d Knaap at the Panda nurseries in Honselersdijk. From our cooperative ventures with a number of Spanish growers, we are able to provide a year round supply for the European market. We are able to offer Mexican aubergines for the American and Canadian markets.
We can offer a wide range of customised packaging options.

Eggplants, or aubergines, grow on plants in greenhouses. The name ‘eggplant’ refers to the shape. The best-known colour of the fruit is purple, but there are also white and even purple and white striped (graffiti) varieties. Eggplants originate from Asia and were introduced to Spain by the Arabs in the Middle Ages. From there, they spread to other parts of Europe.
