Galia melon

Galia melons are very sweet and are known for their juicy flesh. These melons can be used in fruit salads, amongst other things. Our Galia melons are produced in Honduras and Brazil. The climate in these countries is ideal for growing melons. High humidity levels and temperatures are vital for growing sweet juicy melons.

We have been working with Agrolibano, a production company based in southern Honduras, since 2009. In Brazil we have been working with Mata Fresca, based in Mosoró, for many years. Here the melons are checked by our own quality control team to ensure that we can guarantee excellent quality.

Galia melons are available under the Sweet Kiss label. We are also keen to work with you on a private label and we offer various bespoke packaging options.

Galia melons

Galia melons grow in fields outdoors. The melon plant is an annual that needs plenty of light and heat. The galia melon is the result of a cross between a musk melon and a cantaloupe and was developed in Israel.
